2. Count the number of legs on all the animals on the farm. Record your answer in your Math Journal.

3. Share your reasoning with the class.

Explore

1. Obtain the Explore Activity Sheet (Spanish version).

2. Play the video below. Pause as necessary to work on the activity.

3. Complete the multiplication chart using colored pencils. Use a different color for each row/column pair.

4. Answer the debriefing questions in your Math Journal.

5. Display the Explore Activity Answers (Spanish version) if desired.

Explain

1. Obtain a Mission Support Sheet (Spanish version) if desired.

2. Obtain a sheet of blank paper, scissors, colored pencils or crayons, and glue, tape, or paste.

3. Play the video. Pause the video as indicated.

4. Use the information in the video to construct and complete your foldable. Pause and repeat the video as needed.

5. Glue, tape, or paste the completed foldable into your Math Journal.

7. Display the Explain Independent Practice Answers (Spanish version) if desired.

Elaborate

1. Obtain a set of Fact Family Cards (Elaborate Activity Master, Spanish version), pair of number cubes, and glue, tape, or paste.

2. Play the video. Pause as necessary.

3. Use the number cubes to generate factors to complete Part 1 of the Elaborate activity.

6. Discuss each problem with your partner.

Procedure:
