Cosenza & Associates, LLC, was founded in 2010 by Gary Cosenza and Dr. Paul Gray. We founded this company so that we could develop the right tools for teaching mathematics and get them into the right teachers’ hands at the right time.
Gary has over 40 years of experience in education, including as a classroom teacher, regional mathematics specialist, director of curriculum, and project manager. He has served in leadership roles in numerous state-level projects, and has extensive experience in both working with teachers at the campus or district level, and managing curriculum development projects. Gary holds a bachelors degree in mathematics from the State University of New York – Brockport and a masters degree in education from Russell Sage College.
Dr. Paul Gray
Paul is the Chief Curriculum Officer of Cosenza & Associates, LLC. He manages the development and production of mathematics and science curriculum resources and professional development activities.
Paul has over 25 years of experience in education, including as a classroom teacher for both secondary and university-level courses, regional mathematics specialist, and director of mathematics and science at the district level. He is active in many local, state, and national professional organizations, and enjoys working with teachers at the campus or district level. Paul holds a bachelors degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, a masters degree in mathematics education from the University of Houston, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Houston. Paul is the President of NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education (2021-2023).
Jennifer currently serves as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Cosenza & Associates, LLC. She leads the development of mathematics curriculum resource and professional development activities.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in education, including as a classroom teacher at the high school and university levels and leadership at the district level. She is also active in state and national professional organizations and has served on the board of directors for the Texas Association of Supervisors of Mathematics (TASM), Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (TCTM), and Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT). Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Texas A&M and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Teaching from Abilene Christian University. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of North Texas.
Judy is the Director of Advanced Academics division of Cosenza & Associates, LLC. She facilitates professional development activities for schools and districts across Texas and leads a team to develop resources that assist teachers of Gifted and Talented students.
Judy has over 30 years of experience in education, including a classroom teacher, G/T facilitator, assistant principal, and as a specialist in advanced academics at Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston, Texas. Judy is a statewide leader and has worked with the Texas Education Agency on many Advanced Academics State Initiatives, including her favorite, the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP). She holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from University of Houston and G/T Supplemental Certification from the State Board of Texas.
Kim is the Solutions Manager for Cosenza & Associates, LLC. She a team that is particularly talented at working with school or district personnel in identifying curriculum or teacher learning needs and matching them with the perfect solution.
Kim has over 20 years of experience in education. She has served as a secondary teacher and a campus-based technology integration specialist in the Clear Creek Independent School District in the Houston area. She holds a bachelor of science in education from Baylor University.
Ian has been with Cosenza & Associates, LLC, since its founding and attended college at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, and holds professional certification from Kwantlen University College. Ian is active in the local community, including several volleyball leagues, and has participated in the international Deaflympics as a member of the Canadian beach volleyball team.
