Welcome to the Cosenza & Associates, LLC, resources for middle school (Grades 6, 7, and 8) and high school (Algebraic Reasoning) mathematics! This page contains information and links related to the instructional materials for full mathematics curriculum that were approved by the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) as high-quality instructional materials under the Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process for 2024.
These materials were approved as high-quality for inclusion on the IMRA list by the SBOE on November 22, 2024. As such, these full-curriculum materials are eligible for the additional $40 per student, per year allotment for purchasing approved HQIM.
Middle School Resources
We designed Math-Grade 6, Math-Grade 7, and Math-Grade 8 as a full curriculum to support middle school mathematics. These new resources are comprehensive, 100% TEKS-aligned curriculum designed for powerful student learning in the middle grades. Approved by the Texas State Board of Education as High-Quality Instructional Materials under the IMRA 2024 cycle, this curriculum combines the best features of our existing resources: Focused Math™, Performing Math™, and our TEKS Companion Guides™.

Algebraic Reasoning Resources
In 2017, we debuted the Algebraic Reasoning textbook, authored by Paul Gray, Jr., Jacqueline Weilmuenster, and Jennifer Hylemon, as a full curriculum resource for the high school course, Algebraic Reasoning.
For IMRA 2024, we created a full curriculum to support the high school Algebraic Reasoning course. These new resources are comprehensive, 100% TEKS-aligned curriculum designed for powerful student learning. Approved by the Texas State Board of Education as High-Quality Instructional Materials under the IMRA 2024 cycle, this curriculum introduces a student-based learning management system where students may log in and directly access instructional materials.
