Algebraic Reasoning Textbook
Gray, Weilmuenster, & Hylemon’s Algebraic Reasoning textbook addresses the TEKS for the Algebraic Reasoning high school math course. The Texas State Board of Education created this new course to increase the number of rigorous advanced mathematics courses available to students. The Algebraic Reasoning course meets Texas high school graduation requirements to qualify as an advanced mathematics credit on either the Foundation diploma or an Endorsement.

Algebra 1 Companion Guide
We developed the Algebra 1 Companion Guide to accompany the Algebraic Reasoning textbook. The guide is available exclusively in print and is an interactive consumable student guide. The order in which the mini-lessons appear complements the progression in the Algebraic Reasoning textbook. However, this guide could be used for any EOC preparation program.

Performing Math
Performing Math™, a set of performance tasks that teachers can use to enhance students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and skills, is available for Algebra 1. Each task focuses on one content TEKS/SE. As well, each task includes additional content TEKS that students may use as they solve the problem. Each tasks includes mathematical process TEKS as they are addressed in the task. We designed Performing Math™ to improve student performance as they integrate mathematical concepts and skills.
